This is the whole framework at claim-resolution: each load-bearing claim as one card, with its tier, its register of origin, its evidence status, and — always — what would kill it. It is how you read all of this without reading all of it.
Grades follow the method’s admission rules. TIER A requires verified external literature that supports the claim as stated (or verified quotation, for claims about texts). TIER B names its premises and its break-condition. TIER C is interpretation — quarantined, severable. Register: G the claim originated in the generative register (forensic-textual work, Kerala, 1990s); C it originated in the corrective register (the systems framework, 2020s). Demotion is free: any reader may demote any card by showing its admission rule unmet. Filter to Tier A and see how little is claimed as established — that restraint is the credential.
Tier A — established, on external evidence
A-1TIER ACgrounded
Stress-sharing as the binding mechanism of collective intelligences exists in the biological literature as a formal proposal with an in-silico computational model.
Evidence: Levin 2022 (Frontiers in Systems Neuroscience 16:768201, TAME framework, stress as “the glue” of collective agency); Shreesha & Levin 2024 (BBRC 731:150396, agent-based model). Honest register:proposed and formalized computationally — not “established biology.” Its application to human ideological collectives is Tier B.

Perceived charismatic authority measurably suspends believers’ own cognitive monitoring.
Evidence: Schjoedt et al. 2011 (SCAN 6(1):119–127): in believers who took a speaker to have healing powers, receiving his intercessory prayer deactivated medial and dorsolateral prefrontal (executive) regions, with deactivation tracking felt authority. Why it matters: the dependency pillar’s best single external anchor — the authority relation has a neural signature; it is not a metaphor.

Hell-belief and heaven-belief dissociate in their well-being associations — the former negative, the latter positive.
Evidence: Shariff & Aknin 2014 (PLOS ONE 9(1):e85251), cross-national and experimental. Why it matters: the cleanest external support for treating the fear/guilt layer as a separable architectural component rather than an undifferentiated “religion” variable.

Installed expectations can generate percepts: conditioned hallucinations arise from over-weighted perceptual priors.
Evidence: Powers, Mathys & Corlett 2017 (Science 357:596–600), experimental with computational modeling. Bridge premise it supplies (at Tier B): a canon plus a community is a prior-installation engine.
A-6TIER ACgrounded
Ordinary deconversion shows no average well-being change; religious-trauma prevalence figures exist only from an opt-in panel and are citable only with that limitation.
Evidence: Bleidorn et al. 2024 (Journal of Personality, ~20,000 Dutch adults, longitudinal); Slade et al. 2023 (SHERM 5(1):1–28, opt-in panel). Why it matters: this row cuts against the framework’s interests and is carried anyway — the architecture’s damage concentrates in high-demand and clinical contexts and must never be stated as a population-wide average.

The shared-title situation is a documented textual fact: the tradition applies one astral epithet — lucifer, the morning star — to Christ as a title and to the devil as a proper name, in canon and liturgy.

Cognitive flexibility and religious adherence covary measurably — lower flexibility associating with religious affiliation, practice, and upbringing.
The card that demoted itself — the discipline, live. The study is Zmigrod, Rentfrow, Zmigrod & Robbins 2019 (Psychological Research 83(8):1749–1759, N=744; Wisconsin Card Sorting Test, Remote Associates, Alternative Uses). The metadata this project first inherited came from an AI research layer and was wrong about the journal; under the admission rule the row was therefore withdrawn from Tier A in public until a fetch-level verification could be run. That verification was completed on 2026-08-25 (DOI 10.1007/s00426-018-1034-3): the study is real, the sample and tasks are as claimed, and the results support the claim as stated. The row returns to Tier A at the paper’s next revision. Nothing on this site asks you to trust that story — it asks you to check it.
Tier B — inferences that name their premises
B-1TIER BG→Cgrounded
The propagation persona and the retention architecture are co-adapted components of one system — functional identity at two levels of abstraction.
Premise: the functional fit and historical co-development of the two component sets. Corpus ancestor: the Judgement’s first chapter deduces the two-consciousness structure from the functional requirements of selling salvation — before naming any suspect. Break: textual-historical evidence that persona and architecture developed independently and were combined without mutual adjustment.
B-2TIER BCgrounded
Directed institutional optimization of transmission, doctrinal uniformity, and institutional retention occurred — documented, deliberate, self-conscious.
Evidence: conciliar standardization; the Index (1559–1966); the Propaganda Fide (1622); missionary strategy archives. Scope clause: transmission-engineering is documented; engineering of the psychological capture architecture itself is an open question, and the named institutions post-date the architecture’s patristic core. Break: demonstration that the institutions’ documented activity did not concern transmission/retention, or was epiphenomenal to actual propagation dynamics.
B-3TIER BCgrounded as description
The canon’s meta-level handling of doubt and contradiction — faith valorized over evidence, doubt pathologized, mystery as feature — functions as an immune layer.
As description: grounded. As etiology (designed vs. selected): underdetermined, and no verb stronger than “consistent with” is used. The strongest historical fact here: ancient critics (Celsus, 2nd c.; Porphyry, 3rd c.) catalogued the contradictions, and the tradition defended rather than removed them — the immune system operating in public for eighteen centuries. Break: comparative data showing the meta-injunctions do not function protectively where measurable.
B-4TIER BCgrounded
The memeplex extends its own canon through host minds configured by it — experienced external authorship is a reachable, culture-patterned state in healthy minds.
Evidence: Luhrmann and colleagues (2010, 2012, 2020, 2021 — trained experience of an external divine interlocutor, with a measurable predisposition and a named practice mechanism); Powers 2017 (installed priors); Wegner 2002, Gauchou 2012, Deeley 2014, Walsh 2015 (fluent composition experienced as externally authored, inducible); voice-content tracking the local tradition (Luhrmann et al. 2015). The limit, stated once and governing every use: this literature is naturalistic and mostly deflationary — it grounds the functional claim and actively blocks the ontological one. Citing it for Tier C would be self-refuting, and this project does not. Break: failure of the porosity/prior-installation results to replicate at scale, or voice-content failing to track tradition in better-powered studies.
B-5TIER BCgrounded
Informational patterns can be agents in the operational sense — and since 2022 there is an ostensive case anyone can operate: a language-model agent pursuing a multi-step goal is a pattern in language and mathematics navigating a problem space, with no biology in it.
Disciplines: the agential stance is licensed exactly where it buys prediction and control (TAME’s own criterion) — true of current agentic systems as a matter of public record, not true of thermostats. And the case cuts both ways: real pattern-agents observably arise from optimization with no author of their specific competences — so substrate-independence lifts the entity claim only to “the pattern acts through its hosts,” never to a designer. Break: the agential stance losing its predictive advantage for the relevant system class.
B-6TIER BG→Cdiscriminating prediction
The uniqueness fork: standard memetics predicts convergent evolution of parasitic architectures wherever selection rewards capture; the Panakal frame predicts cardinality one.
The testable signature: no independently emerged system combining (i) maximal self-ascribed benevolence, (ii) a conduct record inverting it at civilizational scale, (iii) concealment-class transparency, and (iv) a persistent host-side counter-signal — reform driven against the text from inside. An independently emerged system bearing all four counts against cardinality one. “Derivative” is defined in advance as documented transmission contact — the same standard comparative religion uses. One of the few places the Tier-B and Tier-C frames disagree about observable structure.
Tier C — the interpretive layer, quarantined
C-1TIER CG
The system’s architecture was designed by a non-human intelligence.
Consistent with the evidence, not established by it, and currently not measurable against the alternative — the baseline for what undirected selection plus institutional iteration would produce over two millennia does not exist (the framework names the missing instrument). Clarification the framework owes its own foundations: the memeplex-as-agent premise was built precisely so that no entity behind the pattern is needed. C-1 is a separate, further question — the framework does not require it.
C-2TIER CG[conditional]
The designing intelligence is the being the tradition itself names Lucifer — and the tradition’s texts, read forensically, disclose the identity.
The identification claim proper. It has a real textual case, made from inside the tradition’s own documents — presented in full, with its method’s calibration record and its score on externally stated checks (two of three, one cleanly). It remains Tier C because the case’s probative force depends on a premise (single authorship of all versions) that can be held only ad hominem, against the tradition’s own inerrancy doctrine. “Tier C” does not mean evidence-free; it means the evidence lives inside a granted premise — and that no canonical counter-text can lower it further, because the frame absorbs counter-texts, which is exactly why it can never rise on canonical evidence either.
C-3TIER CG
Cosmological scope: the capture is one instance of a pattern with standing beyond human history.
A metaphysical claim beyond empirical adjudication. Held in quarantine, asserted nowhere, used to support nothing.
C-4TIER CG
Prophetic intentionality: the timing of the thesis’s own emergence was intended.
Flagged as unevaluable — the claim resists any test that can be stated. Recorded because the corpus makes it; graded accordingly.
C-5TIER CG
Sarvanasham — the tradition-internal theory of change: the being persists on misidentification, and correct identification is not description but dissolution.
At Tier C: the corpus’s eschatology. Its Tier-B translation has empirical content: if the dependency loop closes only while the host misattributes the installed debt to himself, then provenance-accurate description (“the guilt is installed, not incurred”) should measurably weaken loop metrics where mere counter-argument does not — a real contrast-class prediction, stated with its confound controls in the capstone’s test battery.
X-1TIER CCorphaned — pending baseline
The system’s optimization exceeds what undirected selection would produce.
Held at Tier C by this project’s own choice, though it is the claim most sympathetic readers want asserted: “exceeds” presupposes a baseline for what two millennia of undirected memetic competition produces, and no such baseline exists — no comparative model has been run. Until it exists, exceedance claims in either direction are rhetoric.
X-2METACconfession
The framework’s parasitic markers were originally reverse-engineered from Christianity itself — so their diagnostic force depends entirely on predicting outcomes in other systems.
A circularity the project states rather than buries. The same confession governs the Christian/Vedic “opposition”: the dimensional scheme was derived from that very contrast, so the poles opposing each other is definitional, not discovered. What survives is the clinical content of the contrast, at its earned strength.
ANAGNORISIS
